What path led you to wealth management?

My career after college had always been more in the accounting world. I had worked at Home Depot’s headquarters in Atlanta for 8 years and decided to stay home with the kids. As they were getting older, I wanted to venture back into the working world. I went back to what was familiar and did part-time bookkeeping. An opportunity presented itself with TFO Wealth Partners, offering a new service that aligned with my background and provided a new venture for me as well.

So when an opportunity presented itself with TFO Wealth Partners and a new service being offered to clients that fit my background and provided a new venture for me as well, I couldn’t pass it up.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my kids and the caring, adventuresome, self-motivated young adults they are today. They both had the courage to leave home and move across the country to do what excites them. I am grateful they both embraced this and are loving life in their respective states.

What are some of your life's biggest influences?

My life’s most significant influences would be my parents. My mom has taught me not to be afraid to pursue my dreams. She was born in Finland and moved to the US at the age of 26, where she only knew my father. She knew the language somewhat but was willing to take the challenge and hasn’t looked back! My dad for his even-keeled manner, hard work ethic, and caring personality. He has shown me you can be successful with all three at once.
