What path led you to wealth management?

After graduating college, I was lucky enough to be brought in to help run a national life insurance producer group. In this role, I quickly learned the important seat an adviser has at the table of wealthy families. After this business was sold, I was brought on to help direct the marketing efforts of a collection of wealth management, employee benefits, life insurance, and property and casualty insurance firms. These experiences helped lead me to guide the marketing efforts of TFO Wealth Partners.

Why did you join TFO Wealth Partners?

I was drawn to TFO Wealth Partners for two reasons. First, the amazing culture they have fostered with a team of colleagues committed to a single purpose of helping families. Second is the depth of that mission – to help families connect their wealth and purpose. To not only help them manage their wealth, but also help them pass on the values that helped create their wealth in the first place.

What most excites you about your work?

The fact that no two days are the same. Our marketing group is blessed to work with a leadership team always thinking of what is next for their client, and open to new ways of enhancing the client experience. This enables our team to tell compelling stories, help create new tools to help our clients better connect their wealth and purpose, and ultimately, have a key role in helping families stay stronger, closer, and wiser.

What has been your most rewarding career experience?

We are a firm who truly listens to our clients and what keeps them up at night. One concern we consistently heard from our clients was the financial readiness of their younger family members. So, we worked together with our advisory team to develop a gamified financial education program to help high school students, college students, and young adults learn the fundamental foundations of money management. Not only has this program helped hundreds of our clients’ kids and grandkids better prepare themselves for financial independence and success, but it has also been adopted by high schools and college athletic programs. Getting this education in the hands of more young minds to better prepare them for tomorrow has been tremendously rewarding.

Marrying my college sweetheart and best friend and creating wonderful memories with our three children.

What are some of your life's biggest influences?

Undoubtedly my parents, who have taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and hard work. My wife and children’s unconditional love drives me to be a better husband and father every day. I’ve also been blessed to work directly with our business leaders, who despite their own successes, find the greatest joy in watching those around them grow both personally and professionally. I admire their commitment to continuously putting the interests of others before themselves.
