I started my sales career at Nestle USA. My sister, who worked for Manulife (John Hancock) in Boston, suggested I look into getting into the retirement business. I was interested in 401(k) plans and the wonders of compound interest, and I pursued an opportunity at the Chicago Manulife office as a participant communication specialist. Once I started in the retirement business, I knew this was the industry I wanted to be in.
I joined TFO Wealth Partners because of its strong commitment to a client-first, fiduciary approach and its ability to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions. The firm’s collaborative team structure and depth of resources allow me to provide a high level of service. TFO’s culture aligns with how I believe clients should be advised and supported. After meeting with TFO members, I felt I could fit in and add value to the firm. I like the retirement plan department’s approach to retirement plans and the products and investments offered to clients.
What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to collaborate with plan sponsors, participants, and fellow advisers to make a meaningful impact. I enjoy helping organizations design and manage effective retirement plans while also supporting participants in making more informed financial decisions. At TFO Wealth Partners, I’m especially energized by the team environment and the support structure that allows us to deliver a high level of service to every client.
The most rewarding part of my career has been the long-term results of consistent effort—building strong client relationships, delivering positive outcomes, and seeing that translate into sustained growth. It’s very rewarding to me when I can help guide a 401(k) participant toward making more informed decisions and building a retirement strategy that fits their situation.
I’m most proud of my family and the role I’ve been able to play in it. Professionally, I take pride in being someone others can rely on—whether it’s clients or colleagues – by showing up, following through, and doing things the right way over time.
I’ve been most influenced by my family, as well as mentors and colleagues throughout my career. Just as important have been the clients I’ve worked with, plan sponsors and participants, who have shaped my perspective and reinforced the responsibility that comes with advising others.
