My path is unique. I have always been passionate about leading and coaching. My dad was a business owner and my mom a teacher, so leading and coaching are part of my DNA. After a soccer career as a player and coach, I chose wealth management because it allows me to combine my love for coaching with helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.
Life is about the people you surround yourself with. God led me to connect with Brady through our shared love for Devils Lake. Learning more about Brady, Cleves, Chris, the team, and TFO’s values and growth mindset made me realize this is where I am supposed to be.
Simply put, serving others. Whether it is helping a client achieve their financial goals and peace of mind through our planning or helping colleagues become the best version of themselves, I am driven by serving others.
It is hard to choose just one experience, so I will speak generally. Watching TFO grow has been incredibly fulfilling, and because of that growth, our team gets to serve more and more families each year. Ultimately, that is what it is all about.
I am most proud of my family. My wife, Heidi, and our kids, Lucas and Sophie, are the greatest gifts in my life. I am also proud of my transition from a soccer career to wealth management. I learned a lot about myself during that period, and I am a better husband, father, friend, and leader because of those experiences.
My parents taught me what faith, hard work, and discipline are all about, laying the foundation for my life. My wife, Heidi, inspires me every day, showing what grace and grit look like in action. My son, Lucas, is a daily example of approaching life with joy, and my daughter, Sophie, teaches me patience. I am also grateful to the long list of former teammates, coaches, players, and friends who have challenged and encouraged me over the years, ultimately helping me on the journey to become the best version of me.
