I took an accounting class in high school that sparked my interest in a career in some type of finance. In college, an investment class directed my focus toward investments and wealth management.
After 30 years with another financial firm, I was looking for a change. I connected with Brady Fineske, the President of TFO, who I worked with years ago, and found they were hiring. After meeting with Brady, and several other members of the executive team, I really liked the core values at TFO and felt a position on their operations team would be a great fit.
Helping colleagues learn about the industry and navigating through the processes on the operations team.
Being hired right out of college with no experience and expanding my knowledge in the industry for the last 30+ years.
My ability to be patient and understanding.
My parents have been my biggest influence both personally and professionally. They encouraged me to be “the best I can be at everything I do”, whether it be in sports, my career, and as a person. My father was an engineer and taught me to work hard, try to figure things out on my own, and most of all, to treat others the way I would want to be treated, with kindness. He always told me “Kindness is infectious.”
