Serving families since 2002, specializing in wealth management strategies focused on high-net-worth, Brady brings a disciplined approach to ensuring his client’s long-term financial future is at the forefront of every meeting.
I began working and saving at an early age, but it was not until I neared the end of college that I began to seek financial advice. As I started to ask many of those whom I trusted and respected who I should use as my adviser, I realized they did not know much about wealth management and they were not confident in an approach or a person that could help. I soon realized that finding someone I could trust with integrity and then finding someone who would always put my interests first was a bigger challenge than I thought. I then met my soon to be wife, Katie, and her father was that person I had been looking for. He began to introduce me to the process of saving, setting goals, and building wealth. I have always been a leader and a coach. I came from a family of educators and as I became more and more passionate about my personal finances, I became very excited to couple my ability to educate and motivate the people and families I cared about most with the opportunity to help them with all of their wealth and risk management needs.
I joined TFO for many reasons. First and foremost, it was about the people and the team effort that goes into helping families. TFO offers expertise in a variety of financial areas, delivered in a customized way, with a consistent investment philosophy, and implemented with a team who have a common goal of helping families connect their wealth and purpose
Helping families. Being available to help and deliver an answer for whatever it is that clients need really excites me. Going home knowing I helped a family in some way and with an opportunity to do it again the following day really excites me.
My most rewarding experiences have come in a few different ways and in most cases, came unexpectedly.
First, helping a family get everything in order just before a terminal diagnosis was given to the husband at an early age and helping his widow with her financial needs. Helping deliver peace of mind for her and the kids was great, but helping deliver relief for the husband before he passed was the ultimate reward.
Second, was when I was able to mentor and develop my longtime colleague Jim Herrick into the adviser and business professional that he is now. I have had many great mentors and helping others like Jim and more now as we continue to improve and build our organization is very rewarding.
Being married to my best friend and enjoying our six children as they develop and become more than I ever could have imagined.
Without a doubt my biggest influences come from those with whom I surround myself. My mom is, and always has been, one of the largest influences in my life. As a single mom raising two boys on a teacher’s salary, she taught me about hard work, discipline, and the importance of family. My father-in-law taught me how to be a great husband, father and business professional. My son (Jack) taught me the importance of my faith life and to trust in our Lord, no matter the circumstance. He allowed me to change and become the man I am today, while at the same time, helping change our family and many others before he victoriously passed from this life to the next. Finally, Cleves Delp, our firm Principal, who saw something in me, who creates opportunity, leads, and mentors me along the way. I am blessed and privileged to be surrounded by many great people and many who have had big influences in my life.
